Anybody know the recipe for Max Potions and Ancient Potions? I know the recipes have changed a fair bit.

I, Kuriyan BBQ, issue intent to structure the Creative Guild for Gathering of Hunters in hopes of providing an environment where imagination and loving effort can proliferate our creative side of the community.
My pledge as Guild Leader would be to provide a space where creators can lean on one another for support via a system that allows for people to give and take feedback from one another as well as provide a means for comfortable critique and promotion. I am a highly patient person who values defining terms and being honest in the case of disagreements. In the Creative Guild this offers me the ability to provide blunt, respectable feedback on peoples' work which will demonstrate I understand my own biases are present and seek to address them when necessary. Additionally, I have a joy for writing which I will demonstrate through involvement in my own personal writing as well as that of other members / writers.
-Given the opportunity to take the reigns for this group, I intend to appoint 'Head Creators' for each active aspect of the Guild (the number of which will be adjusted as needed depending on membership size. This is for the sake of creating an atmosphere in which people can often have access to an invested writer / artist who can offer advice, make suggestions, and maintain energy among members of the Guild. This would be especially relevant for the artistic 'Head Creator' who would be able to help in areas that I cannot. (I am not an apt judge of artistic talent, as opposed to writing, and would do my best to personally facilitate those members of the guild by involving myself in that side of the Guild's activities regardless.)
-Additionally, I would make efforts to bridge the gap between art and writing members by recommending cooperation via non-compulsory events such as light contests or projects that would make use of the combined talent of writing and art members.
-I would recommend a board for the following:
Written Work Reactionary discussion threads
Writing Assistance question/discussion threads
Artwork Reactionary discussion threads
Artwork Assistance question/discussion threads
Etc. Work/Assistance threads
-Requirement for membership will be a demonstration of dedication to the drive of a creator. That means all applicants will be required to submit some form of artwork, piece of writing, filmwork, or any other sort of creative piece that demonstrates a drive to create included with their written appeal for membership. Submissions will not need to be highly skillful pieces of work, but must simply demonstrate that the applicant creator has put a detectable degree of care and effort into their work. Creators need not be skilled, but rather simply driven.
-As a reflection of my ideals, I would present our new Creator's Guild under the name of "The Prismatic Fellowship". A group that comes together to pour into one another along their creative journey while operating under a shared philosophy: Creations, whether made on canvas or in a text box, are colorful, multi-faceted expressions of humanity, and each one a labor of love.
-At the time of this writing, I have already gained the expressed interest of katamar and 17dragonboy in support. I believe that others may be supportive as well, but I will allow them to respond should they desire to do so!
I look forward to seeing the future of our creative community on this site and hope that my plan is one that will bring people together to bring our ideas to life!
Hey, everyone. I know that the Role-playing board itself should ultimately remain cleaned up to just include RPG threads themselves, and I will personally see to it that this thread is moved should a better sub-section be present for it to exist in.
That said, I think a little discussion might be worth having about how we'd like to tackle RPGs on this site given the tools and experiences we have had over the years. A discussion thread would be nice, as well as any fast paced discussion in the discord regarding it.
One thing that our forum role-playing has always suffered from is a glacial pace that can disrupt the adrenaline and enjoyment of a good RP experience. Thanks to having a sister discord server (no shameless plug intended) we have a tool for changing the way we do RPs with both chatroom text RPing as well as even a voice chat option.
I do not think that all of these should or will be utilized for every individual attempt at role playing on the server, but I do think the question is worth asking now: How might we integrate the discord option with the forum?
I think the discord is a great asset, and in many cases, some people will prefer it over the forum while others vice versa. I have no desire to create silos where the discord is not supplementary to the forum, and that goes in regards to the RPG section as well. For me, part of preserving that means basing and archiving RPGs on the forum, even when they're being done through the discord.
Does anyone want to throw their hat into the ring regarding how you'd like to see role playing done on the forum? Do you like the idea of utilizing the discord, and if so, how would you like to see it done?
Good day, friends.
I have been a bit late to following through on an introduction thread as it was in the back of my mind with all of the other stuff I've been occupied with over the past few days.
I digress, hello, I am Kuriyan BBQ. I have been in and out of this community since I stumbled upon the original forum in 2008, a solid decade ago to my honest shock. I had always gone by the moniker 'Adjectutor', but I am distancing myself from that now in favor of something I can at least properly explain the origins of.
As is the story with most of the first wave of members here, I was absolutely not expecting an email regarding the return to form of our O.G. Gathering of Hunters community, LD and all. It surprised me so much that I mistook it for another attempt at kick-starting the placeholder forum (which I would have been there for too, of course). I am very excited to see what I believe is a breath of fresh air for our community which has been strangled by time's death grip for so long.
Now that I am older and at least a little wiser, I am excited to form stronger connections than I ever could before with some great folks. I think this is our greatest opportunity to recreate a hunter's paradise, and that we all need to do our best to see a prolific GoH community again.
I'd like to believe I'm a rather patient and diplomatic individual by nature, so do not hesitate to reach out if you'd ever like to chat. I will do my best not to rub you the wrong way, and when I inevitably do, I will certainly try to be the first to apologize for it.
Let's all do our best out there!
